upgrading the ODS to 51 on a silent install

We are planing to upgrade our client to 8.5 or 8.5.1.
We are using a sccm server to install the customized package in silent mode.
Our problem is to upgrade the ODS without prompting the user for password then we run nfixup and ncompact.
Is there a way to do this , or do we have to use smartupgrade instead.
